Instructions:

Pour Boiling water over date bits, let stand about 5 minutes. Butter 4 9x9 inch pan and sprinkle the 16 crushed cookies over the bottom. Bring date mixture to a boil, add marshmallows . Remove from heat, stir until completely melted. When cool add nuts. Spread evenly, carefully over crushed cookies and chill. When cold whip cream till fairly thick spread over the top and sprinkle with the remaining chocolate cookies. Chill over night.
